  • 1 envelope Knox unflavored gelatin
  • 2 tbsp. cool water
  • 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. lemon juice
  • 3 egg whites (beaten) reserve egg yolks

Directions

    Soak gelatin in cool water for 5 min.

    Then add in boiling water and stir till gelatin is dissolved.

    Add in sugar and lemon juice and stir till it thickens.
  4. 4
    Add in beaten egg whites and continue to beat till it is thick sufficient to drop or possibly mold.

    Chill.

    Serve with Custard Sauce.
