Ingredients

  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 envelopes whipped topping mix
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) angel food cake, broken into bite size pieces
  • 1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. flake coconut

Directions

    Sprinkle gelatin over boiling water; stir until all is dissolved.

    Add sugar, pineapple and lemon juice; stir well. Refrigerate until slightly thickened.

    Prepare 2 packages of whipped topping as directed on package.

    Stir into gelatin mixture.

    In a large bowl, place layer of cake, then layer of gelatin until all is used.

    Refrigerate until set.
