*Snowball Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. plain gelatin
  • 1 pkg. red jello
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 2 Tbsp. cold water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 1 pkg. Dream Whip
  • 1 small jar maraschino cherries, drained
  • 1 large angel food cake
  • 1 can Angel Flake coconut

Directions

    Soften plain gelatin in cold water.

    Pour boiling water over red jello and dissolve.

    Combine with plain gelatin.

    Add sugar, crushed pineapple, cut up cherries, coconut and lemon juice.

    Put in refrigerator to chill, but not jell.

    Prepare Dream Whip as package directs and add to gelatin mixture.

    Tear the cake into small pieces and put into deep dish or oblong cake pan.

    Cover with gelatin mixture and place in refrigerator until jelled.
