So-O-O Good Corn Chowder

Ingredients
- 6 oz. bacon
- 3 medium onions, diced
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 2 c. evaporated milk
- 2 c. sweet milk
- 2 cans cream-style corn
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cut bacon into small pieces; place in Dutch oven or large skillet and fry.

2Remove bacon.

3Fry slowly onions and potatoes until golden brown.

4Add pepper, salt, milk and corn.

5Heat very slowly.

6When hot, remove from heat and allow to cool thoroughly. When ready to serve, add bacon pieces and reheat slowly for mealtime.

7May add more milk according to degree of thickness preferred for chowder.

8Even better if allowed to sit all day and reheat just before mealtime.

9Great with green or fruit salad and cornbread.
