  • 1 c. (2 sticks) softened margarine or butter
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate flavored chips

Directions

    Heat oven to 375°.

    Beat margarine, sugars, vanilla and eggs until light and fluffy.

    Mix in flour, baking soda and salt.

    Stir in chips.

    Drop from teaspoon 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.

    Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
