- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. Karo (blue label)
- 1/3 c. Mazola
- 1/2 c. black coffee
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1 c. raisins
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients.

2Add raisins and stir well.

3Mix together the Karo syrup, Mazola and coffee.

4Drop unbeaten eggs into dry ingredients.

5Add liquids and stir well.

6Put in an 8 x 8-inch cake pan.

7Bake in a slow oven for about 45 minutes.
