- 3/4 c. margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/4 c. light molasses
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 tsp. ground cloves
Directions

1Cream margarine and sugar.

2Add the beaten egg and molasses. Add the flour, baking soda and spices.

3Mix well.

4The dough will be a little sticky.

5Shape the dough into balls the size of a walnut.

6Roll the ball in granulated sugar and bake for 7 to 8 minutes (no longer) at 350°.

7Makes 5 dozen cookies.
