- 3/4 c. margarine or shortening
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 4 c. flour
- 4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. ginger
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Cream together thoroughly the margarine, sugar, eggs and molasses.

2Mix in dry ingredients.

3Form into walnut size (or desired size) balls.

4Roll in sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheets.

5Bake at 350° for 6 to 8 minutes, or until tops are beginning to turn golden.

6Do not overbake.
