- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 4 c. flour
- 1 egg
- kosher salt
Directions

1Mix together yeast, sugar, salt and water.

2Sift a mound of flour, about 4 cups and add to the yeast mixture.

3Stir until dough is completely moistened.

4Turn mixture on lightly floured board and knead to make soft smooth dough.

5Pinch off pieces; roll into ropes and shape into pretzels.
