  • 1/2 c. rice
  • 2 lb. onions
  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • salt
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp. heavy cream (optional)

Directions

    Boil

    rice for 5 minutes.

    Drain. Peel and chop onions. Heat butter and oil in baking dish.

    Stir in onions and rice. Cover pan and place in preheated oven at 325°.

    Bake 45 to 60 minutes. Stir occasionally.
