- 1/2 lb. bacon, diced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 10 oz. can diced clams
- 1 c. potatoes, diced
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. butter
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Saute bacon and onions.

2Add clam juice, water and potatoes. Boil until tender.

3Stir flour into 1/2 cup milk until smooth. Add to chowder, stirring until thick.

4Stir in remaining milk, clams, butter, salt and pepper.

5Heat to boiling.
