- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. soft margarine
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. applesauce
- 1/2 c. tomato soup
Directions

1Cream sugar, margarine and eggs until soft and fluffy.

2Sift dry ingredients and alternately add dry ingredients and applesauce and soup mixture to the egg, sugar and margarine mixture.

3Mix thoroughly and fold in raisins and nuts.

4Turn into buttered 9 x 13-inch cake pan.

5Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
