- 1 large loaf French or Italian bread
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 c. Velveeta or other shredded cheese
- 1 c. chopped onions (optional)
- 1 c. chopped meat (optional)
Directions

1Slice bread vertically but not completely to the bottom of loaf.

2Place bread on enough foil to cover.

3Pour soup over top of bread.

4Layer onions and cheese over top of soup.

5Cover and seal seams in foil.

6You may want to bake bread on baking sheet.

7Bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour.

8Cool slightly and serve.
