- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. yellow cornmeal
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 1 c. sour cream
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2In a large bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

3In a medium sized bowl, beat together the egg, milk and butter.

4Add the egg mixture and the sour cream to the flour mixture.

5Stir just until blended.

6Pour the mixture into a greased 8-inch square baking pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
