  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 1/4 c. pecan halves
  • 1 unbaked (9-inch) pie shell

    In mixing bowl, beat eggs well; stir in sour cream.

    Add corn syrup, vanilla, sugar, salt and butter; mix well.

    Stir in pecans. Pour into pastry shell.

    Bake in a preheated 350° oven until the crust is brown and filling is slightly puffy, about 30 to 35 minutes.
