  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 6 eggs, separated
  • 3 c. sifted flour
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla or almond flavoring

    Cream the butter and sugar.

    Add egg yolks, one at a time. Sift flour and soda.

    Add with sour cream.

    Fold in well beaten egg whites.

    Bake in greased and floured pan for 1 hour and 30 minutes at 300°.

    Remove from pan at once.
