Sour Cream Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in warm water with 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar.

    Melt margarine and bring to a boil.

    Remove form heat and stir in sour cream and remainder of sugar.

    Cool to lukewarm.

    Add yeast mixture and beaten egg.

    Mix well.

    Combine flour and salt.

    Add to yeast mixture.

    Mix.

    Refrigerate overnight or longer.

    Form into rolls and let rise until double in bulk.

    Bake until brown at 375° (about 15 minutes).
