  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1/2 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • melted butter

Directions

    Place butter in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.

    Remove from heat, stir in sour cream and sugar; cool mixture to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in warm water in large mixing bowl.

    Stir in sour cream mixture and eggs.

    Combine flour and salt, gradually add to yeast mixture, mixing well; cover dough and refrigerate overnight.
