- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 6 c. all-purpose flour (bread flour)
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. Crisco
- 1 c. sourdough starter
- 2 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Dissolve the yeast in warm water in a big bowl.

2Mix all well. Cover; refrigerate overnight.

3Do not use metal with this recipe, use plastic bowl and wooden spoon.

4Bake at 400°.

5Dough will keep in refrigerator for 1 week or more.

6Roll out biscuits or make into balls and press flat.
