- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 6 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. sour milk (may sour milk by adding 1 tsp. lemon juice or vinegar)
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Mix dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening.

3Add milk and yeast; mix.

4Cover and refrigerate until cold.

5Roll out on floured surface; cut.

6Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

7Bake for 15 minutes in preheated 450° oven.

8Dough may be stored in refrigerator for over a week.
