  • 1 c. warm water
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 5 c. self-rising flour

Directions

    Sift flour with dry ingredients; gradually add liquids, adding oil last.
