  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. potato flakes (instant)
  • 1/4 tsp. yeast
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1/2 c. corn oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 6 c. bread flour (no substitute)

Directions

    After you have mixed and kneaded, place in a large greased bowl and let rise most of the day, then punch down and divide into 3 parts and shape into loaves.

    Place in greased pans and let rise overnight.

    The next morning, preheat oven to 375° and let bake 10 minutes.

    Reduce to 350°.

    Bake until done (usually 25 to 30 minutes).

    Turn out on racks to cool.
