- 2 c. water
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. potato flakes
Directions

1Combine yeast, 2 cups water, 3/4 cup sugar and 3 tablespoons instant potato flakes in bowl; mix well.

2Let stand, loosely covered, at room temperature for 8 hours to 1 week.

3Feed starter once a week or more frequently if necessary.

4Feed with 3/4 cup sugar, 1 cup water and 3 tablespoons instant potato flakes; mix well.

5Let stand 8 hours or more before using.
