  • 1 cup Water (tepid)
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Active Dry Yeast
  • 1/4 teaspoons Sugar
  • 1 quart Glass Jar, No Smaller

Directions

    Combine ingredients in a glass jar (never metal) just as you would pancake batter, mixing only until combined.

    Cover with a heavy paper towel secured by a heavy rubber band.

    I generally use this for homemade cinnamon rolls.

    Note: Never seal with a tight lid!

    The living yeast will give off gas and the jar will explode.

    Make 8-12 hours before you plan to use it in your recipe.
