- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 3 Tbsp. instant potato flakes
Directions

1Mix ingredients and leave, uncovered, on kitchen counter for 3 days, stirring occasionally with a plastic or wooden spoon. Starter does not rise, only bubbles.

2Place in refrigerator for 3 to 5 days and feed with the following at least twice before using Starter to make bread.

3After starting to make bread, feed every 3 to 5 days.

4Will last a long time.
