- 4 thick skinned oranges
- 1 lemon
- 3 pints cold water
- granulated sugar as needed
Directions

1Slice oranges and lemon very thin and remove only the seeds. To each pound of sliced fruit add 3 pints of cold water.

2Let stand in a cool place for 24 hours, then boil until skins are tender. Set aside for 24 hours.

3Weigh.

4To each pound of mixture, add 1 1/2 pounds granulated sugar and boil until it jells.

5Skins are transparent.
