- 2 c. flour
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
Directions

1In a bowl combine yeast and water.

2Let stand for 10 minutes. Sprinkle flour into mixture and whisk to form a thick batter. Cover and place in a warm place (80° to 85°) for 24 hours.

3The starter can be used at this point but will develop a richer flavor if left in warm place for several days.
