- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 2 c. warm water
Directions

1In glass or crock bowl, dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup water.

2Add flour and remaining water.

3Mix well and allow to stand, loosely covered, in warm place 3 to 5 days.

4Each time batter is used, reserve 1 cup batter to use as a starter for another batch.

5May be kept in refrigerator indefinitely.
