- 2 c. water that potatoes have been boiled in
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 2 c. flour (not self-rising)
Directions

1Mix in crock and set in warm place 24 hours.

2Use amount needed and place remainder in refrigerator.

3When needed, set out to warm.

4Add 1 cup of flour and 1 cup of water and let set in warm place overnight.

5With care, this starter can be kept working for several years.
