  • 1 recipe Southern Pastry
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 beaten egg yolks
  • 1 stiffly beaten egg white
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream together the butter and sugar.

    Add egg yolks and egg white; mix well.

    Add the raisins, nuts and vanilla.

    Pour into pastry shell.

    Bake in hot oven (400°) until filling is set. Reduce temperature to moderate (350°); bake until browned.
