- 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Mix meal and flour together.

2Add drippings and mix gradually. Add buttermilk until well blended and thick.

3Grease skillet (iron), preferred heavy.

4Pour in mixture and bake at 425° about 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown.
