- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. shortening
- chicken broth
Directions

1Sift the flour, salt and baking powder together.

2Put in the shortening and gradually add about 2/3 cup chicken broth until a stiff dough results.

3Roll out on a floured board and cut into strips 1-inch wide and 2 to 2 1/2-inches long.

4Bring remaining chicken broth to

5a boil.

6Drop a few strips at a time into broth. Cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Serves 4.
