- 5 to 6 small tender yellow squash, sliced in 1/4-inch pieces
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. flour
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. cooking oil
Directions

1Place flour in a plastic bag and add seasonings to taste. Heat oil in skillet.

2Place squash in bag and shake until each pieces is coated with flour.

3Place pieces individually into hot grease (should sizzle).

4Cook until brown around edges.

5Turn each piece over and cook until brown.

6Drain on paper towels.
