- 4 large pork chops
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 (29 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1/4 tsp. parsley, chopped
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. oregano
- 2 tsp. sugar (optional)
- dash of pepper
- 4 medium onions, sliced
Directions

1Brown chops well on both sides in a large skillet.

2Remove chops and pour off most of the fat.

3Blend flour into remaining fat.

4Put chops back in skillet and sprinkle with the salt, garlic powder and pepper.

5Add 1/4 cup of water; cover and cook slowly for 35 minutes.

6Add remaining ingredients; cover and continue cooking for 15 more minutes.

7Serve over cooked rice.
