- 3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/3 c. margarine
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chiles
- 1/2 lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°. Grease a 2-quart casserole. Combine all ingredients in the order given and pour into prepared casserole. Bake for 45 minutes at 375°. Lower temperature to 325° and bake for 30 to 45 minutes.
