  • 2 (16 oz.) cans cream-style corn
  • 3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/3 c. margarine
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chiles
  • 1/2 lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Preheat oven to 375°. Grease a 2-quart casserole. Combine all ingredients in the order given and pour into prepared casserole. Bake for 45 minutes at 375°. Lower temperature to 325° and bake for 30 to 45 minutes.
