  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    In a medium bowl mix all ingredients together.

    Prepare a firm dough.

    Beat until it comes easily away from the sides of the bowl.
  4. 4
    With a spoon press the dough through a dumpling sifter into salted boiling water.
  5. 5
    Cook 10 to 15 minutes.

    Skim them out and dip in cold water.
  7. 7
    Spaetzle dumplings can be also browned lightly in butter before serving and they are my favorite accompaniment to meat with sauce.
