Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 14 cup diced green pepper
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can tomato puree
  • 1 14 teaspoons salt
  • 12 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 16 ounces water

Directions

    Heat oil and brown the ground beef.

    Once beef is browned add chopped onion, green pepper and garlic.

    Saute until soft.

    Add all the remianing ingredients, cover and simmer for 2 hours.

    If sauce gets too thick add a little more water to thin it out.
