Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
  • 1 (15 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 8 oz. spaghetti, broken, cooked and drained
  • 1 to 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Cook ground chuck, onions and garlic until beef is browned and onion tender.

    Drain off fat.

    Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, mushrooms, sugar, oregano and salt.

    Bring to a boil.

    Simmer 25 minutes.

    Stir occasionally.
