Spaghetti Carbonara

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. uncooked spaghetti
- 1/2 lb. bacon, cut up
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 c. half and half
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- salt and pepper, to taste
Directions

1Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain and keep warm.

2In large frying pan, cook bacon over high heat until golden.

3Reduce heat to medium and add onions and garlic, cook 5 minutes.

4In medium bowl, mix half and half, milk, whipping cream and egg until well blended.

5Toss with spaghetti, add bacon mixture and cook over low heat until thoroughly heated.

6Season to taste with salt and pepper.

7Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley.

8Serves 6.
