Ingredients

  • 3/4 to 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c. sliced olives
  • 1 (2 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce (1 c.)
  • 2 1/2 c. tomatoes (1 lb. 4 oz.), cut up and peeled
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 drops Tabasco
  • 4 oz. spaghetti (uncooked)

Directions

    Brown meat in a large saucepan over medium heat.

    Add onion and green pepper and cook 5 minutes.

    Add olives, mushrooms and tomato sauce and mix lightly.

    Stir in tomatoes, water, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco into meat mixture.

    Add uncooked spaghetti and bring to a boil.

    Cover; reduce heat to low and simmer about 30 minutes.
