- 3 cans stewed tomatoes (15 oz.)
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 lb. macaroni (perciatelli #6 or ziti)
- 1 large jar Cheez Whiz
- single slices American cheese
Directions

1Brown meat until no longer pink; drain.

2Combine meat with tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano and garlic in a saucepan.

3Cook 45 minutes on medium heat.

4Cook macaroni as directed.

5Combine macaroni and meat sauce.

6Add Cheez Whiz.

7Mix together with a fork to distribute cheese.

8Pour into a baking pan (9 x 13 x 2 1/2-inches).

9Add a single layer of cheese slices to completely cover.

10Bake at 375° for 1/2 hour or until heated through and cheese has melted.
