- 6 oz. spaghetti
- 2 Tbsp. butter and margarine
- 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 well beaten eggs
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Directions

1Cook spaghetti according to directions.

2Drain and stir in butter.

3Add Parmesan cheese and eggs.

4Form mixture into crust in 10-inch greased pie plate.

5In skillet, cook beef, onion and green pepper until vegetables are tender.

6Drain grease.

7Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano and garlic salt. Heat through and spread cottage cheese over bottom of crust.

8Fill pie with meat mixture.

9Bake uncovered in 350° oven for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese and heat until cheese melts.
