  • 7 oz. pkg. spaghetti (uncooked)
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 1/4 tsp. butter
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 lb. cottage cheese
  • 1/4 c. sour cream
  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/3 c. chopped scallions
  • 1 medium chopped green pepper
  • 1 1/2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp. butter
  • 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water and drain when cooked thoroughly.

    Set aside.

    Saute the beef in 1 1/4 teaspoons butter until brown.

    Add tomato sauce with salt and pepper.

    If you use a commercial tomato sauce, add 1 teaspoon chopped basil, 1 teaspoon oregano and 1 tablespoon parsley in addition.

    Mix well with meat and let simmer for 10 minutes.
