  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. thin spaghetti
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/3 c. grated Parmesan
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 c. cottage cheese
  • 1 (2 oz.) pkg. grated Mozzarella

Directions

    Cook spaghetti and drain.

    Add margarine, cheese and beaten eggs.

    Mix and form into crust in 10-inch pie pan.

    In skillet, brown beef; add onion, green pepper, tomato sauce, tomato paste, sugar and oregano.

    Cook on low 10 to 15 minutes.

    Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti crust.

    Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt over cottage cheese and spread meat sauce over cottage cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.

    Sprinkle with Mozzarella.

    Bake 5 minutes.

    Remove from oven.

    Allow to sit 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.
