  • 6 oz. spaghetti
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 well beaten eggs
  • 8 oz. cottage cheese
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 (8 oz.) can cut up tomatoes
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 2 oz. Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Cook spaghetti according to box; drain.

    Stir into hot spaghetti the butter, Parmesan cheese and eggs.

    Pack mixture onto bottom and sides of a 10-inch pie plate.

    Spread the cottage cheese over spaghetti crust.

    Cook the ground beef, onion and pepper until tender and brown.

    Drain off fat.

    Add undrained tomatoes, paste, sugar, oregano and garlic salt.

    Spread the heated mixture over spaghetti crust.
