- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion
- 1 green pepper
- 2 stalks celery
- 2 c. tomato sauce
- 2 c. cooked or canned tomatoes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- cooked spaghetti or macaroni
Directions

1Crumble ground beef in heated frying pan.

2Cook and stir until lightly browned.

3Finely chop onion, green pepper and celery; add to ground beef and cook until tender.

4Add tomato sauce, tomatoes, salt and pepper.

5Cover and cook slowly, about 1 hour until thickened.

6Serve over hot, cooked spaghetti or macaroni.
