- 1 lb. low-fat ground round
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 medium onion
- 1/2 green pepper
- 4 to 5 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 tomato paste can of water
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 1 pkg. Lawry's spaghetti mix
- 4 to 5 large mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1In a large skillet, fry meat.

2Add onion, green pepper and garlic.

3Fry 5 minutes; pour excess fat off.

4Add rest of ingredients except sugar and baking soda.

5Simmer 2 to 3 hours. Add sugar and baking soda.

6Serve with green salad and garlic bread.
