- 3 sq. unsweetened chocolate
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. water
- 2 c. sifted cake flour
- 1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Grease 2 (8-inch) round cake pans.

2Flour lightly.

3Combine chocolate, butter and water; microwave until melted.

4Let cool. Sift flour, soda and salt into large bowl.

5Beat eggs with sour cream until blended in medium sized bowl.

6Beat in sugar and vanilla; stir in cooled chocolate mixture.

7Beat into flour mixture 1/2 at a time just until smooth.

8Batter will be thin.

9Pour evenly into prepared pans and bake at 350° for about 30 minutes or until center springs back when lightly touched with fingertips. Cool on wire racks.
