  • 2 lb. Lean Ground Chuck
  • 2 medium Onions (Chopped)
  • 1 Bell Pepper (Chopped)
  • 2 14 1/2 oz. cans Del Monte Diced Tomatoes (Seasoned with Garlic and Onion)
  • 1 1/2 c. Ketchup
  • 1 8 oz. can Mushrooms (Stems and Pieces)
  • 1/2 tsp. Paprika
  • 3 Tbsp. A-1 Sauce
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar
  • Thin or moisten with Tomato Juice
  • 3 Tbsp. Margarine

Directions

    In a 4 quart club aluminum or cast iron pot, brown ground beef (crumbled).

    Drain and chop mushrooms, medium fine, and boil separately for about 45 minutes and drain.

    Add all ingredients to ground beef and let simmer 2 hours or longer.

    Stir often.
