- 1 large can V-8 juice
- 8 oz. can tomato paste
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. paprika
- dash of cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 medium chopped onions
- 2 small green peppers, chopped
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
Directions

1Brown ground beef in olive oil.

2Saute onions, peppers and celery.

3Mix V-8 juice, tomato paste and spices in 4 quart saucepan and preheat.

4Add salt and pepper to taste.

5Blend ground beef, onions, peppers and celery in sauce.

6Simmer on low heat for at least 4 hours.

7If it becomes too thick, add 1 cup cooking sherry. Never use water.
